As a Libertarian I look at Cannabis Prohibition from a humanitarian viewpoint. I think it is a crime against humanity that creates a for profit structure of civil and human rights violations and should not be used as a political platform by either side. Both sides have neglected cannabis reform this election. Sensible policies will not be handed down, the people must demand sensible policy. Prop 64 in California is clearly corrupt and used as an extra judiciary money grab giving big corporations the market share; I’m very skeptical of the Sep. 30th vote of the MORE Act. I’m asking the community to retweet what I’m saying to bring attention to the issues. If you disagree, tweet your own tweets. I think an executive order to remove Cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act along with demand for sensible policies is the best way for small scale craft industry to thrive. I’m open to debate and comments. Again I don’t think cannabis reform should be used for political gain by any candidate; and the argument of keeping it illegal for the people’s benefit is losing ground rapidly. I think we should push for a true free market nationwide. We have Mexican Tequila, Canadian Whiskey, why should craft California Cannabis be any different.
