A Jackson County man faces multiple charges after authorities say they uncovered moonshine and drugs at a home.

Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said Jason Townson, 40, was arrested Tuesday about 8 p.m. after a drug search warrant was executed at a home on County Road 51.

Investigators found two-and-a-half gallons of moonshine, a moonshine still, a pound of marijuana, two ounces of meth, a gun and drug paraphernalia at the home, Harnen said.

Townson faces charges of drug trafficking, possession of a still, marijuana possession, possession of tax-paid alcoholic beverages for private use and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $30,800 bond.
